Last night I went outside at 2 AM and looked up to the starry sky. I took my slippers and socks off, knelt down on a carpet on the ground, put my face down, completely humbling myself, and I prayed out loud to God (while others were sleeping), and asked him to forgive me (again) for every sin I have ever committed in my life. I told him I do not want to sin ever again and I want to be good. I asked him to help give me strength to be good. I finished my prayer, stood, and looked up at the sky and immediately saw a shooting star flying exactly where I first looked, going from North to South.
In the past month alone I have seen about 9 shooting stars on different nights. The one last night was super special to me, because I felt like God was listening to my humble prayer and was pleased. I jumped up and down cheering and pumping my fists into the air with a smile on my face, shouting, “Yeah! Yeah!” I cheered because I felt like he was listening and talking back!
Conclusion
God is merciful when we are humble. He wants us to be good. I have no reason to want otherwise.
