The Holy Bible claims that God is the Word. We speak words with the help of our tongue.

The tongue is connected to our brain by the hypoglossal nerve, which is the 12th cranial nerve. Why would God choose the 12th cranial nerve and not one of the other nerves to connect our tongue to our brain?

If you have seen the “Pattern of 12″, this video will make more sense.

The Holy Bible was written long before we understood genetics, right? The Holy Bible was written long before we knew how the nerves of the brain connect to the body, right? The wisdom contained in the Holy Bible exceeds what could be possible from mere mortals a couple thousand years ago. The words must have come from someone that is immortal: God.

If you want to be saved, please pray to God from any location:

Dear Heavenly Father, please forgive my sins. Jesus, please come into my heart and help me stop sinning. Jesus, please save me.

It’s a free gift offered from God. Please accept it while you still can.

Peace to everyone!

There is a nerve leading from the brain to our tongue. This nerve is responsible for controlling our speech. This nerve is called the hypoglossal nerve. It is the twelfth cranial nerve.

12th cranial nerve: hypoglossal nerve

12th cranial nerve: hypoglossal nerve

“This nerve controls all tongue movements.”
Clinical Methods: The History, Physical, and Laboratory Examinations. 3rd edition. Boston: Butterworths; 1990.

The nerve numbers were not assigned by man, but as a result of our anatomical design. The nerves were assigned numbers in the order as they appear in the brain design. There are twelve cranial nerves which originate in the brainstem, identified by number in the order as they arise from progressively lower portions of the brainstem or forebrain.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
John 1:1~3

That is a clue to help us understand the mystery of God. The Word was God. God was the Word.
“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed…”
John 8:31

“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words…”
John 14:23

“The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ…”
Acts 10:36

It seems to me, that Jesus is God in the flesh. Using logic, if God is the Word, then Jesus is the Word in the flesh.

Did you know that we are all words in the flesh? Our bodies are formed by words. We call these words DNA or genetics.

The difference between our words and Jesus’ words is that we are imperfect and Jesus is perfect. Jesus is perfection, both physically and spiritually. Jesus is Holy. Jesus is God in the flesh. Jesus is the Holy Word in the flesh. His physical word (DNA) must be Holy and his spiritual word (Holy Bible) must be Holy.

When I see the number 12, I think of Jesus. See the video titled “Pattern of 12” for an explanation.

So, if Jesus is the Holy Word in the flesh, and words are spoken with the tongue, it makes sense that the tongue is controlled by cranial nerve number 12.

These go together:

When Jesus was on Earth, he never faught against the flesh. He spoke words with his tongue. He gave us the gospel of truth with his tongue. He did not write the words on paper. His disciples and prophets did that for him. Jesus spoke the words. Jesus is the Holy Word.

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Philippians 2:5~11
