Why were we taught this song when we were children?
“Row row row your boat, gently down the stream,
merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily life is but a dream.”
What?! Dreaming is what we do when we are sleeping, right?
I was a pre-school child in day care when I learned it. I was asleep for most of my life. Is it possible that somewhere in our history, our ancestors were put to sleep? Did we forget where we came from? Are we sleep walking? Are we sleeping with our eyes wide open?
Meanwhile, military activity appears to be increasing.
According to the Navy website (www.navy.mil), when I accessed it June 28, 2012: “Sixteen coalition partner ships sail in formation while participating in the War of 1812 fleet exercise. The exercise is a week-long multi-national exercise involving 19 ships from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Brazil, and Portugal…”
I do not know about the war of 1812. Do you? History has a tendency to repeat itself.
They say it is an exercise. Do you remember that there was an exercise on September 11, 2001? It was called “Practice Armageddon”. From what I read, the US military was distracted on 9/11 with major military exercises. There was confusion over what was “real-world” and what was simulation. This four-minute video explains more:
I would like for us to wake up. There is a way out. Jesus told the truth, he is alive today, and he will return. We are all sinners. We have all hurt someone, mostly with our mouth… with our words. We lie, slander, back-bite, hate… If you want to be saved, pray to God, ask forgiveness, then ask Jesus into your heart to save you.
Peace to everyone!
